Everlasting Arms Wellness Center' mission is to help disenfranchised men, women and youth who have faced incarceration, homelessness and other life tragedies by providing them with food, shelter, educational and social services that will give them a second chance in life whereby adding value to themselves and society.
Program Design
EAWC' life skills enhancement program is designed to provide a continuum of services based on individual need. During the initial intake and assessment the goal is to orient and stabilize the client as well as to assure the individual that EAWC is HIPPA compliant (confidentiality) and is a safe haven that welcomes all regardless of race, religion, disabilities, sexual orientation or gender.
Intake objectives are to:
- Provide an overview of EAWC' program
- Provide admission requirements
- Provide written program expectations
- Complete a comprehensive assessment
- Determine short and long-term needs
- Initiate an individual treatment plan
Approach To Service
Our approach to service is to create services unique to each individual and family. Our services
are based on the strengths of the people we serve and intended, when possible, to be short-term and easily accessible. We strive to work towards identified goals, to provide efficient and effective services and to encourage people to advocate for themselves. We believe that communities improve when all members participate in a healthy and productive manner. In our years of service, our agency have seen individuals in financial and emotional crisis needing additional supports thrive in their communities. We believe that most people are capable of learning the skills and behaviors to prosper and care for themselves and their families while productively participating in their communities.
